# The log interval was changed in B3 but did not change in the node

The commands from Boomerang to WIN gateway can only be sent after the WIN gateway first communicates with the Boomerang server. The commands to change anything in WIN gateway are placed in a queue in Boomerang waiting for the message from the gateway.

However, the WIN gateway doesn’t have a queue for commands it receives which means that it can only handle one at a time. A change in log interval can only be sent to the node next time it communicates with the gateway, so there may be some delay before its really set in the node. During this time, any new commands will be ignored by the gateway, so changing another MP’s logging interval may look ok in Boomerang, but it will never reach the node.

The only way around this is to manually check after a while that the node you’ve changed really has changed the log interval. If it hasn’t, change to a (preferably) shorter log interval, wait for the node to log at that interval and then change to the correct interval again and double check that it really transmits at that interval.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.boomerang3.com/win-gateway-installation-manual/troubleshooting/the-log-interval-was-changed-in-b3-but-did-not-change-in-the-node.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
