# Log interval differs from B3 settings

Sometimes when installing a node it happens that the log interval chosen in Boomerang is not sent to the node. This can be solved by either changing the log interval in Boomerang again, for example from 5 min -> 1 min, waiting to see that node starts to log with 1 minute interval and then changing it back to 5 min.

There is also another method if you have web access to the WIN gateway. In this case, set in WIN gateway the same value as the one set in Boomerang:

1\. Go to “Advanced” -> “Details”.

2\. Find your node in the list (look at the EUI ID)

3\. Set the “SensorReadPeriod” as described in [Sensor Read Period](/win-gateway-installation-manual/node-information/sensor-read-period.md).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.boomerang3.com/win-gateway-installation-manual/troubleshooting/log-interval-differs-from-b3-settings.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
