# The gateway is slow, radio nodes disappear

The WIN gateway has [periodic-ping-reset](https://help.boomerang3.com/win-gateway-installation-manual/gateway-configuration/periodic-ping-reset "mention") enabled by default. If the network gateway has ping answer disabled, the WIN gateway will reboot periodically (default 3 minutes), which will clear the node's list and may cause web access delays. In such a case disable the Periodic Ping Reset.
