# Menu - Administration – User Group Management

The User Groups can be different companies, departments within a company or people with specific tasks like e.g. Quality Assurance. Grouping the users makes it easier to define the range of measuring points they observe and get alarms from.

Every user shall be a member of at least one user’s group.

To add or modify user groups, open the “User Group Management….” in “Administration” menu.
