Setup for version 1.2.2

Version 1.2.2 is available only for units based on Banana Pi SBC, there is no version for Raspberry Pi. The version 1.2.2 functions can be checked in FW versions.

To setup the device:

  1. Connect Web Panel to Ethernet network using a network cable . The network must have DHCP server enabled.

  2. Connect keyboard and mouse or their dongle, in case of wireless keyboard and mouse, to Web Panel USB connector(s).

  3. Connect Web Panel with the monitor using HDMI cable.

  4. Connect the monitor to the mains and power it up.

  5. Connect Web Panel power supply to mains and its USB plug to Web Panel micro-USB connector.

  6. Web Panel shall boot up and start the web-browser in kiosk mode.

  7. The Web Panel app shall be loaded in the browser.

  8. For local method press Ctrl+Alt+F1 to open Linux console 1 and login using Default user and password or login as described in Putty if you use a remote connection.

  9. Start Midnight Commander and navigate to /var/www/html/js.

The parameters are stored in “/var/www/html/js/custom.js” text file on the Web Panel SD card.

Open custom.js for edition, modify the parameters according to your needs, save and close the file. The parameters that needs to be checked and or modified are marked red.

There are Swedish and English langH and langT texts in the file. Uncomment the version you want to use. You may add or modify the texts if any other language versions are needed.

  1. Power cycle the Web Panel to re-boot.

  2. Wait for the Web Panel app to load in the browser.

  3. Important! After Web Panel app start, press CTRL+F5 to clear browser cache.

  4. Disconnect keyboard and mouse or their dongle from Web Panel USB connector(s).
