Unlinking a node

To unlink a node:

  • Click on the linked node in the “Linked Devices” list.

  • Click “OK” in the pop-up window asking you to unlink the node.

  • Wait until the node has been unlinked and shown in “Unlinked Devices” list. This can take some time depending on the node communication interval.

To speed this up you can either press the node Send/Reset button (if applicable) or temporarily remove the battery/disconnect power from the node for about 15 seconds and then connect the battery/power again. The node will start to communicate with the gateway just after startup and will be unlinked. As an unlinked node, it will start blinking its LED rapidly.

Note that an unlinked node will drain the batteries rapidly, so please make sure to remove the batteries or link the node to another gateway as soon as possible.
