Use WLAN

It is possible to use WLAN connection instead of Ethernet cable connection.

Raspberry Pi

Use Raspberry Pi Software Configuration Tool to modify the settings. Its detailed description can be found at:

https://www.raspberrypi.com/documentation/computers/configuration.html#using-the-command-line.

To define WLAN parameters:

  1. Start terminal either locally or remotely.

  2. Enter: sudo raspi-config and press Enter.

  1. A configuration tool shall open.

Use arrows and Tab to move through the menu.

  1. Select “System Options” and press Enter.

  1. Select “Wireless LAN” and press Enter.

  1. Enter SSID of your WLAN (icupl10 in example).

  1. Use Tab to select OK and press Enter.

  1. Enter passphrase.

  1. Use Tab to select OK and press Enter.

  2. You shall return to initial configuration tool screen. Use Tab to select “Finish”

  1. Press Enter to close the tool and return to command prompt.

  2. Close Putty window to finish the terminal session.

  3. The Web Panel shall now work without cable Ethernet connection.
