# Find S2GW IP address
It is necessary to know the S2GW IP address to use terminal connection described in chapter 4.2.
You may find the IP in different ways.
1. Ask local IT for the IP assigned to S2GW MAC address.
2. Issue “arp -a” in a command window. This shall list the network devices in your network segment and you can check if the S2GW MAC is shown there.
3. Download IP scanner like e.g., to scan the network.
