# Sensors installation

To mount the sensors, it is necessary to open the enclosure by unscrewing four screws on the bottom of the enclosure.

The cables are then screwed into J2 and J4 connectors. A tie wrap shall be used on the grommet inside the box to create strain relief for the sensor cables.

The interface shall be used with 4 wire sensors but can be also used with 2 or 3-wire sensors. If 2-wire sensor is used, short the drive and sense pins of the sensor connector placing jumpers on pins 1-2 and 3-4 of the J3 (for J2) or J5 (for J4) headers. For the 3-wire sensor the jumper shall be placed only on the side where a single wire sensor is connected.

If there is only one sensor connected then the other input must be shorted to allow the measuring current to flow through the sensor as shown below.
