The S2 nodes are used to build star topology radio networks for Boomerang monitoring systems.

The S2 networks are used to wirelessly connect the sensors providing readings to the system.

The S2 module shall be used in industrial or business environment.

The S2 module has the following functionalities:

• it collects measurement data from different type of sensors

• it communicates wirelessly with the other S2 modules

• it communicates via RS-232 (UART) interface

• it enables radio parameters modification over UART

• it enables FW reprogramming over UART
