# Scope of view

What you can see in Boomerang depends on:

* your user role and rights
* your position in the organisation structure
* the selected time range

Some items and actions are hidden if you do not have sufficient rights.

If you do not see expected data (for example, the latest readings), check [Time range selection](https://help.boomerang3.com/boomerang-3-user-manual/common_elements/time-range-selection).

The data may be outside the current time range.
