# Login with MS Entra (AD) account

1. Click “Login with Microsoft”.

2. Microsoft “Pick an account” form is displayed.

3. Click the Microsoft account you have registered in B3 and approve sign in request with Authenticator.

4. The selection to stay signed in has no influence. Click “Yes” or “No”.

5. A dashboard will open.

6. An MS Entra (AD) user can only sign events using a Boomerang 3 PIN. PIN must be enabled in the user's System Group and in the user's profile.
7. Any consecutive logins using “Login with Microsoft” does not require steps 2 to 4 as long as the user is logged into Microsoft account.
8. A logout for an AD user is called “Logout AD”.

An Entra (AD) user must have PIN enabled to be able to [sign](https://help.boomerang3.com/boomerang-3-domain-administrator-manual/common_elements/sign "mention") operations and events in the system.&#x20;
