# Documents

Using Documents, a user may store any documents in "pdf", "doc", "xls", "xlsx", "docx" formats. He can also create Categories of documents.

1. Click “Documents” in the navigation pane.

The categories have a folder icon before the name and an "Upload Document" button. An example is the "Reports" category above.

There are also the documents that are collected on the objects. They are grouped under the object icon and its name, like S1D1O1 above. For the objects, the documents can be uploaded from object [Documents tab](/boomerang-3-domain-administrator-manual/dashboard/object_view/detailed-object-view/documents-tab.md).
