Relay Boxes

The Relay Boxes list contains the relay boxes defined in the system. A CG1018 Relay Box communicates over network and contains 3 relays that can be controlled by B3 system. A typical application is control of light tower with green, yellow and red lights that present the alarm status. The detailed information about the CG1018 can be found in T-CG1018 Relay Box Installation Manual.

Create Relay Box

To create a relay box:

  1. Go to Admin – Infrastructure – Relay boxes.

  1. Click “Create Relay Box”.

  1. Select System Group, Division and Group.

  2. Enter box name.

  3. Enter MAC address of the box. The format is described in MAC address.

  1. Click “Create” and sign.

  2. A confirmation is displayed.

  1. A new relay box is shown in the list.

  1. When the box is created, the system automatically creates an alarm group assigned to it. The group is called:

name-AG-CHn

where:

  • name is the box name

  • n is the box channel number which is one of 3 relays' outputs. The default selection is channel 1. To change it, a relay box must be edited after it is created.

Edit Relay Box

To edit a box:

  1. Click Edit icon at the right side of the box row.

  1. Change the settings.

  2. Click “Save” and sign.

Remove Relay Box

To remove a box:

  1. Click Edit icon at the right side of the box row.

  1. Click “Remove”.

  1. Click “Remove” and sign.

Restore Relay Box

To restore a box:

  1. Click “Show removed Relay Box” to display the removed boxes.

  1. Click the Restore icon on the right side of the box row.

  1. Click “OK” and sign. The box will be restored.
