# Introduction

This document is a user manual for the Calibration App, that offers an easy and integrated method to calibrate the temperature measuring points of the Boomerang 3 system. It can be also used to calibrate any other temperature sensor when used in manual mode.

The Boomerang 3 system is an automatic system logging and monitoring physical parameters like temperature, relative humidity, pressure etc. offered by ICU Scandinavia AB.

It makes monitoring and quality assurance of your laboratory simple, precise, and efficient.

The system automatically collects information about parameters, for example in refrigerators, freezers, incubators, and heating cabinets.

It triggers alarms if pre-set thresholds are exceeded. The alarm messages are delivered to designated contacts using defined methods like e-mail, SMS, voice mail etc.

It offers extended management including:

* user accounts with six levels of rights that enable a security system definition to reduce the human-related threats,
* multilevel administration groups to reflect the company or department structure,
* infrastructure to define the hardware elements that delivers the measurements to the system,
* alarms definition with alarm ranges defining the conditions and alarm groups defining the distribution.

The Boomerang 3 was developed basing on more than 20 years of experience in the field of automatic quality assurance.

ICU Scandinavia AB reserves the right to modify or update this document at any time without a notice.
