# Show PC nodes

Click “Show PC nodes” to select or deselect this option.

When it is deselected, the infrastructure elements like PC nodes and sensor nodes are NOT shown in the tree view so the tree view shows only sensors as presented on the left image below.

When it is selected, all infrastructure elements like PC nodes and sensor nodes are shown in the tree view as on the right image below.

It is necessary to enable “Show PC nodes” to install new sensors or modify the infrastructure settings because only then the infrastructure elements like PC or sensor nodes can be selected and their properties can be changed.
