Modifying alarm dispatch

To set up the alarm dispatch, open the “Alarm contacts settings….” in “Administration” menu.

This will open ‘Alarm contact settings’ dialog shown below.

Click “Alarm codes” text in the ‘Error types’ list on the left.

After you click “Alarm codes”, all the alarm dispatch definitions present in the system will be displayed in the “Contact entries” list.

To modify one of the existing alarm dispatch definitions, select it from the “Contact entries” list. In the example, group Bell Laboratory, defined in 10.1, was selected.

After a contact is selected, click “+” sign left from “Alarm codes” in “Error types” to unfold the alarm source list.

You shall unfold the branches to the bottom of the tree to show all the sources if needed.

Click the checkboxes to modify the alarm sources the way you want, click OK and sign to save.
