# Telnet

Click on “System Configuration”->”Telnet”.

A user can enable Telnet access to the BBO and define the port used by Telnet protocol.

It is recommended to disable this functionality for security reasons.

If Telnet is enabled a terminal program like Putty may be used to access its serial interface.

&#x20;Enter login and password (admin/icu).

&#x20;The menu is displayed.

Enter a number to see the logs.

Press Enter to return to the main menu.

Enter “q” to close the serial connection.

&#x20;The only log that is useful for BBO – Boomerang communication is POST client communication selected by entering digit “2”.

The log presents the contents of POSTs sent by BBO to Boomerang.
